Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 July 2026
The service
Recall ("the service") is a personal memory application: you capture memories and notes, and Recall organises the people, places and connections in them for you to recall later. The service is provided by Recall ("we", "us").
Your account
You sign in with a supported identity provider (Google, Facebook or Apple). You are responsible for the security of that provider account. You must be at least 16 to use the service.
Your content
Everything you capture remains yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and display it back to you (including AI-assisted extraction as described in the Privacy Policy). When you share a memory with another person, you grant that recipient a copy.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to store or distribute unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to breach the isolation of other users' data.
Availability & changes
The service is provided "as is", without warranty. We work hard to keep it available and your data safe (including the export tools that let you take everything with you), but we may change or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
